THE GLOWING MORNING MOON Under the deep blue Hammond sky At around ten late April morning I saw the outline Of what seemed to be the glowing moon White crescent fading Glittering diamond merging In the lightness of the blue In the whiteness of the hue A canvass of unnoticeable fog That only seemed to highlight What seemed to be the glowing moon I don't know why But I closed my eyes For just a second As if to capture What seemed to me a silly picture Moonlight with the sunlight Blue sky with white covers And for some odd reason Hope was once again awaken That somehow Someday Our paths would cross again Even though Tears are the only ones That remained

Silly me and damn you For writing such a crappy letter It was a lot easier hating you When you were the villain The heart-less, cruel evil Who walked away Without so much emotion And left me a victim Of my own dreams and devotion

For some odd reason Morning walks have a new sensation What with the foggy sky And what seems to be the glowing moon And it ain't even afternoon... |
