WHAT IF

WHAT IF

For some reason or another
What if
The clouds all of a sudden
Refused to appear in heaven
No more whiteness
No more darkness
Just the majestic blue emptiness
There will be no more tears from heaven
No more flood to cleanse the earth
Of the dust that blinds the heaven
And leaves it teary-eyed
Covered with clouds
That soon enough
Will again start to cry
For some reason or another

What if
The clouds have had enough
And refused to move
And refused to be seen
Even refused to cry

What if
The clouds simply disappeared
Just like you did

circle5.jpg

If so
Then I will bathe
In the nakedness of the blue sky
I will cover my flesh
With the serenity of a thousand stars
I will console my solitude
With the emptiness of heaven

And live among the galaxies
That live
Where heaven lives

Eternity is so long
But tomorrow is just as long
And yesterday
Is but a smile
